June 1st, 2018 — U.S. Ambassador, Niki Haley, is forced to beg the United Nations to support her highly unpopular Trump/U.S. Gaza Resolution.
The Trump/U.S. Gaza Resolution would condemn Hamas for the scores of deaths that occured when Israeli troops opened fire on protesters near Gaza's border— killing 60 unarmed protesters and shooting 1300 more.
At one point, as you can see in this video, Haley appears to be asking one of the ambassadors, "Oh please!" with her hand over her heart.
But her desperate attempts were to no avail, leaving her in a very akward position where the only vote she got for her resolution was her own.
One ambassador said that he never, in the history of the U.N., had seen a resolution shot down the way Haley’s was.
