WHAT IS OUR ROLE?
What is or role? Our role is to be the shamans of today. Our role is to be a prophetic voice. We are here to warn people about where things are going. That is why we are here. That is what we do. There's an illusion that the current crisis is a tactical error. It is not. It is the result of deep spiritual illness within the system. Yes it is. It is a question of a deep spiritual illness within the system, within the ideas of the current dominant ideology on the planet: American Imperialism.
AMERICAN IMPERIALISM IS NOT A BENEVOLENT SYSTEM
This is not a benevolent system and the people in power are not benevolent people. No they are not. They are not benevolent people. They are very sick. This doesn't mean all of them are sick, but a lot of them are very sick people, and the American people are not blameless in this. There is nothing stupider than to say that it's just a problem with the American leaders - that the American people are wonderful - no that's not true. The American people are a key part of the problem and they are to be held responsible. Now we represent nature - the laws of nature, the truth. The truth doesn't change. It doesn't matter if there's an election, it doesn't matter if there's democracy, it doesn't matter. It doesn't change the truth. 99% Of the American people can vote this way or that way. What does matter is the consequence of what is being done. What does matter is the storm that is coming. We are harbingers of that storm. Now we participate in politics. We would hope that America could reform itself. We do. But that's not a very realistic point of view. It's really kind of a fairy tale.
WHAT'S COMING
So what's coming? What's coming is what's always coming in crises like this. What's coming is the emergence of dictators. That's what's coming, and what's coming is a very bloody struggle between the haves and the have-nots. What's coming is the death of billions, and the billions of people are probably not going to be very happy about finding out that their lives are coming to a rather violent and premature conclusion. No they're not. And there's going to be a very bloody struggle between the haves and the have-nots, and this again will fuel dictatorship. What's coming is the Caesar's. Now our goal is to relate to the Caesars, to help give these people guidance. We have reports like building a sustainable future that provide guidance as to a lot of the reforms that are to be put through, but where we also come in is the political dynamics of what's to come. We've studied history going back to the beginning of recorded history, going back to the old Kingdom in Egypt. Authoritarian rule is the norm, and America's system of so-called democracy is an aberration, a kind of international freak. It's based on systems in Greece and Rome which ended in total disaster, particularly democracy in Greece under Pericles, which turned into an imperialist nightmare that self-destructed.
TROUBLING QUESTIONS ABOUT RELIGION IN AMERICA
Now the religious basis of America also calls into question serious issues, because the religious basis of America is the so-called Judeo-Christian tradition. Now contrary to what you were taught in school, ancient Israel was a geopolitical nothing in the ancient world. The only way Jewish ideas entered the intellectual world of the ancient world was in Alexandria Egypt under the Hellenistic Ptolemaic regime where the Septuagint, the Old Testament, was translated into Greek. Beyond that, ancient Israel was a nothing in the ancient world. Now this was after 323 BC, the death of Alexander The Great and the emergence of the great Greek super kingdoms the Seleucid Empire, which stretched from the Mediterranean to the Himalayas; and the Ptolemaic empire which controlled Egypt, which was a fabulously rich country. And Egypt was kind of the nexus between the Eastern world and the Western world with a huge library of Alexandria, and we believe in the long term the Library of Alexandria had huge implications for the West. But this again is a very dubious system.
CHRISTIANITY'S TROUBLING HISTORY
When Christianity came to power in 395 AD, it unleashed the most terrible reign of terror the world ever seen in terms of religion. The ancient world was a relatively tolerant place. The Christians weren't and the end result of the imposition of Christianity on the West was the collapse of the Western Empire, literally in a very short period of time. In 395 AD, Christianity was made the official religion of Rome, and all other religions were declared illegal. A mere 15 years later, Rome fell to, it turned out to be, a bunch of Christian barbarians. So this was not a good situation and it ushered in the Dark Ages. So this is not a good system that's in power, and what's coming is a return to nature. We are the shadows of the storm. We are the harbingers. We are the prophetic voices. That's who we are.
