What is the ultimate reality? The ultimate reality is nature. Nature is billions of years old. It has proven the test of time. It is truth itself. Art needs to have a connection to nature.
A CRIMINAL ASSAULT ON NATURE
In our period in history there is a criminal assault on nature, unprecedented from any other era in history. Our current world order is presiding over and organizing the greatest slaughter of other species and other forms of life since the Permian extinction 65 million years ago.
This is going to have serious consequences and in fact it is already having serious consequences. The scientists of the world are unanimous in warning about the grimmest consequences up ahead. We are talking about a human death toll in the billions.
ART AS A HARBRINGER OF TRUTH
Nature will eventually recover, it has billions of years. People won't unless there is change. So what should be the role of artists and musicians in our time? Just going out and trying to become bigger and bigger celebrities? That's really very pathetic. Artists need to talk about reality and need to discuss in their own way the struggle for survival that is taking place.
THE UNDERGROUND
Is it realistic to expect that the rulers, the elites of our world and the establishment figures are going to have the decency, the honesty and the intelligence to clean up the criminal mess that they've created? No, this is not very likely. This is why revelations about reality are likely to come from the underground. Now the term “underground” is a very amorphous term that could relate to all sorts of things.
